Excel Tips

In an excel task if you have a csv file you must staight away go "save as" and save it as an excel file!

Formulas:
=LOOKUP(this,here) e.g. =LOOKUP(B7(cell),J8code(file the formula has been
=COUNTIF(#########################

Excel Input

Import .csv : comma separate values (A standardized format)
Absolute and Relative cell references:
Absolute means its unique and dosen't change. (?)
Relative means the formula changes depending on where you paste it.
Named range : Giving a row of  boxes a unique name.
Named cell : Giving a cell a unique name.
Wild card (*): Is like the blank tile in scrabble its a blank space, It means ANYTHING (e.g. Searching the school database and I put in *th it will find everyone who's name end with th or if I search ol* it will search for anyones name which starts with ol.)
